![]() Personal relationships are an important aspect of church life. We recognise that the warmth of welcome and friendships found in a congregation are as important as its spiritual support. A Unitarian community is a welcoming community and you should find acceptance of all people of goodwill and sincerity, regardless of race, sex, sexual orientation, age, or disability. On a more formal level we organise events, courses and seminars and actively co-operate with groups such as interfaith organisations. There are also a number of special interest societies within the Unitarian movement which have much to offer. Political and theological viewpoints vary and there is no "party line", but the Unitarian practice of tolerance includes friendly challenge and debate as part of the process of expanding one's own understandings and sensitivities. |
