For Unitarians, religious education for children and continuing to learn for ourselves is of great importance.

Many Unitarian congregations offer discussion/study groups or religious education programmes for all age groups. These encourage participants to explore issues for themselves and to clarify their own perspectives in the group and in the light of our religious tradition. We generally find these sessions deepen our understanding of one another as well as being educational in a more focused sense.

The Unitarian movement offers a wide range of material including a number of structured courses for all ages. The most popular adult course is called "Building Your Own Theology" and the title well indicates the flavour of the Unitarian approach to religious education.
